The Chinese taboos are:
- No cleaning — especially sweeping the floors; as this means you sweep away the good fortune in the whole year
- No crying — it brings bad luck to your family
- Wearing red — as red is a color of prosperity & happiness
- Shooting off the firecrackers — to expel the demons and also to welcome a new year
- I can’t think of anymore… any inputs????
